Make your own version of the iconic Big Mac with this delicious copycat recipe. Juicy beef patties, special sauce, and classic toppings come together in this homemade burger.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup onion, finely minced
- 1/4 cup pickle slices
- 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
- 4 slices American cheese
- 4 sesame seed burger buns
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Add the egg, minced onion, salt, and pepper to the ground beef in a bowl
Mix the ingredients together until they are well mixed
Form the mixture into 8 thin patties that are all the same size
To make the special sauce, put mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, vinegar, sugar, and a pinch of salt in a different bowl
Set the pan on medium-high heat and cook the patties for two to three minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked
Spread the special sauce on the bottom bun of each burger
Then add a slice of cheese, a beef patty, pickles, shredded lettuce, another beef patty, and the top bun
Do this again for the rest of the burgers
Serve right away and enjoy!
