Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cupcakes



With this recipe for Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cupcakes, you get the best of both worlds: moist and fluffy cupcakes with a tasty cookie dough topping. A delicious treat for any event!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions:

Warm your oven up to 350 ?F 175?C and put paper liners in a cupcake tin

Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl with a whisk

Place the softened butter, white sugar, and brown sugar in a different bowl

Mix them together until they are light and fluffy

Adding the eggs one at a time and mixing them in is the next step

The dry ingredients should be mixed in first, then the sour cream and milk, going back to the dry ingredients at the end

It's okay to add the little chocolate chips

Fill up each cupcake liner about two thirds of the way to the top with cupcake batter

In a hot oven, bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean

Let the cupcakes cool for a few minutes in the pan, then move them to a wire rack to cool all the way down

Get your favorite chocolate chip cookie dough ready while the cupcakes cool

You can buy dough or make it yourself

Place a spoonful of cookie dough on top of each cupcake once they are completely cool

Gently press the dough into the cupcake

If you want to go the extra mile, drizzle with melted chocolate
