The honey mustard flavor on the grilled chicken is just the right amount of sour and sweet. A dish that everyone will enjoy at your barbecues!
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
To make the marinade, put sugar, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and pepper in a bowl and mix them together
Pour half of the marinade over the chicken breasts in a plastic bag that can be closed again
Put the bag in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for better taste
Warm up the grill over medium-high heat
Take the chicken out of the bag that it was in and throw away the marinade
Grill the chicken for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, or until it's done
During the last few minutes of cooking, baste it with the marinade that you saved
Make sure the chicken's internal temperature is at least 165F 74C
After taking the chicken off the grill, let it rest for a few minutes
