The drama that is the life of Lara Bingle is about to become a real-life, televised soap opera.
The bikini model has signed a lucrative deal with Network Ten to star in her own primetime reality series, and says nothing will be off limits.

Speaking from Los Angeles, Bingle said she hoped the show - to be aired later this year - would give the public a glimpse of exactly who she is and what she does.

"I give my whole life away, I'm nervous as hell," she told The Sunday Telegraph.

"(My family) were a bit apprehensive at first. When you ask someone to be in your so-called reality show, it's a weird thing to ask. . .

"I've been through a lot with my family and they've been through a lot with me, and they support me in whatever I choose to do. Thankfully they're supporting me in this show.

"With my dad passing away it's just my mum, me and my brother, just the three of us and we're very close."

The 24-year-old said she hoped to dispel the perception of her in some circles as little more than a Sydney party girl.

"I think the last six to eight months have been the hardest period of my life to date, with things out there about my personal life and even my weight gain," she said.

"I'm not complaining but there has been so much scrutiny about what had gone on in my life and it has really taken its toll.

"I think this is the right time in my life for this kind of show and I can actually show the real me.

"Show people I can hold my own, and that I'm actually a very driven person."

Despite Ten's high hopes for the show, Bingle admitted she would not watch the series, Being Lara Bingle, herself.

Lara Bingle yesterday showed why she was once picked to represent beach babes Down Under in a worldwide tourism campaign.

The bikini model was the epitome of fresh-faced natural beauty as she enjoyed a lazy afternoon sunning herself on the rocks at a beach on Sydney Harbour.

Lara, 24, scraped her hair back into a bun and went without make-up, and poured her shapely figure into a skimpy string two-piece.

The model accessorised with a chunky silver necklace as she cooled off with a dip in the ocean.

She played with her iPhone in between swims, uploading pictures of herself to Twitter.

Lara celebrated Australia Day last week, and appeared to be feeling a little nostalgic for her old tourism campaign, posting a picture on Twitter with the caption: 'Where the bloody hell are you?'

She has kept things tweet with her ex Michael Clarke, but model Lara Bingle appears to have a soft spot for surfer Dion Agius.

Friends of Agius, a pro board rider, say a summer romance blossomed with Bingle.

The couple stayed at Bingle's holiday house near Byron Bay over the new year break with her friends, singer Matt Corby and model Nathan Joliffe.

A friend of Agius said: "Nathan introduced them to each other when she first came up to Byron. They all went out one night and the two hung out every day since."

Agius has also taught Bingle how to surf.

Byron has been a celebrity hot spot this summer with visits by Claudia Karvan, Simon Baker, Gyton Grantley, Jennifer Hawkins, Jake Wall and Elle Macpherson.

PS was a little deflated after receiving a shot of Lara Bingle's Christmas tree this week - it was more like a Christmas stick.

The small pine tree in a pot wrapped in a hessian bag was naked of baubles or even a skerrick of tinsel. Even Bingle herself admitted ''it's a bit sad'' when PS asked her about it.

While most Australian stars strut red carpets in generic mini dresses, Lara Bingle is more likely to show up in a metallic tuxedo or shapeless Josh Goot shift.

She's not a slave to trends, preferring to reference modern style icons Alexa Chung and Chloe Sevigny.

"I've always loved masculine-style dressing and I love a very feminine style as well, so I try to mix both of them together then come up with my own look," she says.

While she's had the odd hiccup - such as her penchant for real fur - her choices have been daring, original and distinct. Take the black Dion Lee dress and lace eye mask she wore to Royal Randwick's spring carnival in October, or the demure burgundy Louis Vuitton skirt and black top she wore to the luxury brand's store opening this month.

Bingle admitted last month she had been taunted by photographers after gaining 6kg since finishing Dancing with the Stars.

Speaking before this weekend's Dancesport championships, Pizzino said: "She's got curves, she's got shape and she's so young still."

Pizzino will commentate this year's championships, to air on Seven during the Christmas break.

Bingle received a suspension notice last month for failing to pay previous fines, but we hear the 24-year-old blonde was unaware of the fine until she received the notice after returning from Bali.

The fines were quickly paid and she's already back on the road, having been spotted driving around town on Thursday.

Can Lara Bingle emulate the success of Kim Kardashian as the star of her own reality TV series?

It seems one local television production company believes so, with market newcomer Eyeworks backing the project.

Confidential can reveal a sizzle reel has recently been circulated to TV networks teasing a reality series based on the model's life.

Yesterday producers at Eyeworks were not returning our calls but network sources said the promo reels had landed on programming executives' desks at the Seven and Ten networks.

The concept follows the simple yet effective reality show premise "if it happens, shoot it" and Bingle's fitness makeover gets an airing. Now if the program's producers can only persuade Bingle to let them film her uncensored after-dark activities, Confidential is confident the program will find an audience.

Clearly Bingle, nicknamed "Bucky" during her childhood, may have had her television close-up on her mind when she caught up with celebrity dentist David Carr in Double Bay on Monday. Carr looked to have something else on his mind however, the older man at one stage spotted massaging Bingle's neck.

Bingle wore a provocative T-shirt to the coffee date, our spies telling us the T-shirt screamed just one word, "F ... ".

Standing up to recent body bullying, model Lara Bingle says putting on 6kg has her feeling happy and healthy despite negative media reports slamming her weight gain.

But the former Speedos ambassador admits the pressure has been intense, with paparazzi standing outside her front door shouting, "Give us a fat shot, Lara!" Says Bingle: "It's been so full on. It's like, enough!"

But Bingle - who is the face of healthy eating program Eat Fit Food - insists she keeps her body image in check by focusing on being fit and healthy.

"I'm not trying to beat myself up or worry about hammering myself at the gym everyday - when you stress about that, it does more harm than good."

For Bingle, time is better spent maintaining an active lifestyle and a positive lease on life: 'I'm really happy right now...I just want to enjoy my life."

Instead, Bingle has been buoyed by the many positive Twitter comments she's received from girls sharing their own body image stories. "They're my real inspiration," says Bingle. "Whenever there's been a negative media report, they've come to my defence and say I've inspired them, and that's amazing to me."

Which is odd because she wants everyone else to be a fan of shopping and buy her sunglasses range, and her soon to be released coffee table book.

Meanwhile Bingle revealed that she's working on plans to launch a sunglasses collaboration early next year as well as a coffee table book, a blog and a fashion line with a yet-to-be-named label.

"I have definitely a whole list of things I want to achieve. There are about 30 on that list and I have ticked off about five so I have a bit still to go," Bingle said.

"I've been asked to release a fragrance in India because I spent a lot of time there when I was seeing Michael (Clarke) but I don't know. It could be something."

Lara Bingle has spent the weekend frolicking around the Gold Coast and Byron Bay.

The model who has copped a bit of flack for putting on a bit of weight looked stunning as she soaked up to sun with BFF and manager Hermione Underwood and make-up artist Max May.

Lara and Hermione flew to the Coast on Friday morning and spent the afternoon on a boat, jetskiing and kite surfing on the Broadwater.

"Cheeky afternoon on the water!!!" Lara posted on Twitter, before uploading a photo of a helicopter and writing: "Don't have a car in the gold coast but it's ok!!!!!"

No stranger to controversy, beach babe Lara Bingle says she is used to copping criticism - just don't call her fat.

The 24-year-old swimsuit model has added 5kg to her petite 168cm frame, but last week said she was happy to have accentuated her famous curves.

And while her weight gain has been hotly debated, Bingle said the extra kilos were actually the result of her healthier diet.

"I used to eat so badly when I was younger - lots of hot chips and pies - and I think it's all caught up with me," she said during a photo shoot for Who magazine's annual Sexiest People issue out Friday.

"I eat so much better now, and stick to a high-protein, low-carb diet, but it's like the healthier I am the bigger I am.

"Without a doubt it gets harder as you get older. I'm just trying to embrace my curves and make sure I stay fit and well."

Posing in a revealing black lace number, Bingle said she hoped the image would silence her critics once and for all.

"I'm proud of my body and how I look and this image is testament to that," Bingle told The Sunday Telegraph.

Despite her defiant attitude, sources close to the model said she was upset by the constant scrutiny over her weight and that she had shown great strength during scandals involving Aussie Rules footballer Brendan Fevola and her high-profile break-up from Test captain Michael Clarke.

"Lara is emotionally strong and physically healthy," one friend said. "She works out, eats well and looks good. How skinny do people want her to be?

"This is why women turn anorexic, because society places too much emphasis on how they look and what size they should be."

With her life playing out like a soap opera in recent years, Lara Bingle has decided to own her dramas through a reality TV series.

Bingle has exposed her life to the cameras in a pilot for a reality show and is weighing up whether to push ahead with a full-blown series.

The sultry swimwear model, and headline magnet thanks to her regular dating dramas, has sought advice for the project from US TV host Ryan Seacrest, who is an executive producer of the wildly successful Kardashian family reality TV juggernaut, as well as close pal, radio shock jock Kyle Sandilands.

"It went really well and it is really funny," Bingle said of the pilot she filmed in July.

"Hermione (Underwood, her manager) was in it, Max (May) and my family were in it.

"We did it over a week and it was pretty funny looking back over it. It is very real."

Bingle was surprised how much happened in a week of her life.

"It is crazy. You don't really magnify your life. Everything kind of passes by," she said.

"Every day is different in my life, so it was weird to see it."

But, while happy with the end product, Bingle is not sure if she is ready for the warts-and-all exposure.

"I took a step back (after watching the pilot) and I am still thinking as to if I would like my whole life to be out there, from when I go to the bathroom to when I wake up.

"If I was to do a reality TV show I would want it to be very real. I believe that is the only way they work."

Bingle teamed up with a UK-based production company for the pilot and hopes if a series eventuates that it will be sold to English and Australian networks.

Bingle, in Melbourne this week as an ambassador for EatFitFood and with a lingerie project on the drawing board, said she planned to spend a significant amount of time overseas next year.

From broken engagements and stolen cars to demit point investigations and arrangements with paparazzi - Lara Bingle has come out the other end and put her hat firmly back on her head.

In her first interview in months, the human headline sat down with Confidential today to acknowledge the "really good place" she has put herself in following a recent trip to LA.

Bingle was also quick to quash rumours she was seeing recently-dumped Rooster Todd Carney.

"That’s not true. We use the same coach. I've been sprinting a lot and sometimes we run into each other. That’s it."

Revealing she started the year with a wish list, boxes are slowly being ticked off at brand Bingle headquarters.

"I'm surrounded by really good people at the moment and I'm really happy where things are going … it feels like I'm never not working," she said.

"It’s a really good place to be. I feel blessed."

Of all the business ventures Bingle has been busying herself with - including a self-designed sunglasses range - the 24-year-old remains unsure about a reality series that would put her life under the microscope.

“I’ve had a lot of offers over the years (to do a show) and we did film a pilot earlier this year, but I’m just not sure yet,” she said.

“So much of my life is lived in full public view and you’ve got to make sure there are parts of it to keep to yourself.”

Speaking of, any private relationships to speak of?

“No, its just me and my bestfriend Max (May) and my manager Hermoine (Underwood). No one at the moment.”

Having flown under the social radar of late, Bingle will return to the party circuit this weekend by being the special guest at Epsom Super Saturday at Royal Randwick.

“It’s a good excuse to put on a nice dress. Or a suit. I love a suit,” she laughed.

MAX MARKSON AUCTIONS OFF OLD MATE LARA BINGLE

It seems Max Markson has patched up his differences with former client Lara Bingle, so he auctioned her off to the highest bidder last night.

Bingle agreed to go under the hammer for a segment of The Celebrity Apprentice at Tim Olsen's art gallery in Paddington - with money going to a homeless youth charity.

Markson briefly represented Bingle last year before they parted - soon after her split from Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke.

"Lara and I are still friends and I rang her when she was in LA 10 days ago and explained what it was for and she said 'Yes'," Markson told us.

You don’t get a body like Lara Bingle‘s just by sitting around eating KFC, you know. It takes damn hard work!

Ok having a few good genes help, but hell work out those genes and keep them in shape!

Bingle was out doing just that with an intense workout including some impressive sprint training.

You maybe surprised to know that Bingle’s sprint technique is actually pretty good. None of the flouncy arms everywhere type of running, it was more like Olympic Cathy Freeman style.

A couple of days ago Bingle was tweeting about polishing off nearly a box of chocolate truffles.

Her tough workout banished any possibility of “truffle bum” though. Bingle still has everything in the right place.

Less than a month after publicly declaring her love for British rugby player Danny Cipriani on the front cover of a national magazine, Lara Bingle is single again.

Despite saying she was going to make it work, it is understood that the Sydney beauty has not heard from Cipriani since the pair holidayed in Bora Bora, Tahiti, at the end of last month.

"Lara was as surprised about the split as I am sure anyone else might be," Bingle's new manager Hermione Underwood confirmed.

"Unfortunately, sometimes things just don't work out as expected."

Bingle, 24, and Cipriani, 23, got together after a whirlwind courtship that began when she was a contestant on Dancing With The Stars. They tried to keep the romance private but went public after their Tahitian trip.

"I'm in love," Bingle told Who magazine at the time. "With Danny it's just so easy - he gets me and my life and I get his. He's really supportive of what I do."

Cipriani has spent the past few weeks in the UK but is expected to fly back to Sydney later this month. He's notorious for squiring beautiful high-profile women and then splitting with them.

He has previously been linked to Lindsay Lohan and Kelly Brook.

Bingle was sporting a new haircut - a classic break-up move. From what we hear, she has sworn off men for a while.

LARA AND DANNY HIT THE BRAKES

The brief relationship between Lara Bingle and Melbourne Rebels rugby player Danny Cipriani is reportedly all over.

The couple split soon after they returned from a holiday in Tahiti two weeks ago, sources confirmed to the Sunday Herald Sun.

It's believed Cipriani is on his way home to London for a couple of months during the off season with the Melbourne Rebels, and wanted no distractions as he concentrates on rebuilding his rugby career.

At the David Jones fashion show in Sydney on Thursday night, Bingle gave no indication that she was single other than that she was accompanied by her best friend, make-up artist Max May, rather than Cipriani.

She told the Herald Sun Cipriani was "great."

Just two weeks ago, Who Weekly bought pictures of the couple on the beach at Bora Bora and Bingle told the magazine how in love she was.

It's believed Bingle still has hopes the two may rekindle the romance when he returns to Australia.

The couple were first seen out together in late June. They met while Bingle was in Melbourne for Dancing with the Stars.

At the time Bingle was linked to American singer Jason Derulo.

A British production company is producing a pilot for a show based on her life. Friends Kyle Sandilands and Erin McNaught are involved.

Lara Bingle flew into Sydney from Tahiti yesterday to face a fresh storm of controversy after ditching new boyfriend Danny Cipriani at Auckland airport in a bid to evade photographers.

But she walked into a new paparazzi war after photographer and one-time Nicole Kidman nemesis Jamie Fawcett vowed to fight her after reports she would seek legal advice against him.

Bingle's manager Titus Day yesterday said she would meet lawyers this week to examine taking out an AVO against Fawcett, who she claimed was harassing her.

"It is very serious. It has become a real problem and he is always outside her home ready to stick a camera in her face and it has been going on for months," Day alleged.

Fawcett told Confidential he was ready to challenge her claims. "I'm not going to fight Lara Bingle through the media," he said. "But if she has appropriate and legitimate cause for complaint, then let her take it to court because I will defend it rigorously.

"I am not parked outside her place everyday. That is clearly not the case."

Bingle has put other noses out of joint after she and rugby player Cipriani spent the week at Bora Bora in Tahiti, where they posed for a photographer from Big Pictures and declared their love for each other.

Bingle had until then denied they were anything but "good friends", and was reportedly paid $30,000 for this week's Who magazine story.

But Day denied that.

"Lara has not made a cent out of any of this, I can assure you," he said. "She has a preferred relationship with Big Pictures, and one of their photographers bumped into her there and she (and Danny) co-operated when asked."

"It's been so nice to be able to just hang out and get away from everything," the Sydney based star says from her island bungalow. "With Danny it's just so easy—he gets me and my life and I get his. He's really supportive of what I do."

The revealing interview marks the first time Bingle has spoken publicly about a relationship since the public disintegration of her engagement to Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke in March 2010. She has more than 150 pairs, so it’s no wonder the gorgeous Lara Bingle wanted her own sunglasses range, as she tells OK!

She’s one of the most talked-about Aussie stars and one of our fave style icons.

Not a week goes by in the OK! office where we don’t pour over pictures of her in the latest Balenciaga boots or Ellery blazer, so it’s no surprise that we jumped at the chance to chat to the 24-year-old about her new role as a sunglasses designer!

‘Sunglasses are something I’ve loved forever,’ she says. ‘So when ROC asked me to be the face of the brand, as well as design my own range, I was like, "Yes please!"’

Proving she's more than just a pretty face, Lara, who's currently appearing in the ROC spring/summer campaign, is working hard on the designs of her own collection - Lara Bingle for ROC Eyewear - which is due to hit stores later this year. "It's going to be a mixture of classic styles with fashion-forward shapes thrown in', she reveals.

The gorgeous model cites celebrities such as Chloe Sevigny and Kate Moss as inspiration, and admits to owning almost 150 pairs of sunglasses - pieces she's collected from her travels and markets.

'Doing ROC and a sunglasses range is only the beginning', Lara says. 'I love fashion , I enjoy being creative and it's something I'm really interested in.' Bingle yesterday made a guest appearance on the forthcoming series of Australia's Next Top Model to offer some advice on the pitfalls of fame to the latest batch of contestants.

Bingle was quick to brand her decision to flip the bird to photographers from the balcony of her ex-fiance Michael Clarke's Bondi Beach apartment last year as one of her greatest regrets.

While on the subject she also cautioned the attentive young women to think twice about becoming engaged to a famous person at age 19.

"She was really candid and very honest and talked about some of the mistakes she has made," said Australia's Next Top Model host Charlotte Dawson, who hosted the mentoring session at The Ivy.

"She's been through some highs and incredible lows (but) felt comfortable talking."

Also near the top of Bingle's regret list was being betrayed by a former best friend she didn't care to name.

"She said don't be surprised if one of your best friends sells you out to the media," said Dawson. "She said don't retweet a friend's obscene yet funny tweet."

The interview will air on Fox 8 later in the year.

BINGLE MINGLES AT GROWLERS

Lara Bingle chose a cold, windy, mid-winter’s morning for her first trip to Torquay on Saturday but said she loved it.

The sun was shining and the waves pounding when the bikini model arrived early in a chauffeur-driven car for breakfast and Bingle had a personal assistant on hand to ensure her hair and makeup were up to scratch.

Bingle was in town to visit her latest venture, Growlers Restaurant, in which she is partner with paparazzi mogul Darryn Lyons.

‘‘I never thought I would have a restaurant in Torquay,’’ she said.

‘‘Darryn told me so much about it — it is good to be finally down here,’’ she said.

The Sydneysider said she was back in Melbourne to make an appearance on last night’s final show of this season’s Dancing with the Stars.

Bingle said she had been friends with Geelong-born Lyons for some time.

‘‘I’ve known him for a while so it wasn’t an odd thing for me and him to be involved in Growlers,’’ she said.

‘‘I thought it was a perfect opportunity to start rolling my brand and thinking about new areas of business.’’

Bingle, who turned 24 last month, said she looked forward to bringing her friends down to the Surf Coast.

‘‘Hopefully when it gets a little warmer I’ll be back,’’ the keen stand-up paddle boarder said.

‘‘I see some people out on the paddle boards, I do that in Sydney and down the south coast. It is such a good workout.’’
Bingle said she was also keen to take a trip on the Great Ocean Road.

‘‘I have never been down there before,’’ she said.

Bingle said she didn’t plan to buy a house in Torquay.

‘‘I have a few places in Sydney,’’ she said.

Lara Bingle has denied she and rugby bad boy Danny Cipriani are an item but the Daily Telegraph's Confidential can today confirm otherwise.

We can reveal the couple have spent the week playing a game of cat and mouse with photographers, desperate not to be spotted together.

At one point on Monday, Lara even called police after paparazzi caused her and Cipriani to remain holed up in her Darling Point apartment.

They were first linked last month after meeting in Melbourne, where Cipriani played for Super 15 side the Rebels and where Bingle appeared on Channel 7's Dancing With The Stars.

A night of "canoodling" at the city's Laika Bar was followed by the usual denials.

"Danny and I are friends," she said last week.

"I am just continually linked to these men because I have a lot of male friends."

However, on Sunday afternoon the couple were spotted with friends at Barrio Chino Mexican cantina in Kings Cross. By 10pm they were alone and spent the next two hours cuddling at a long table away from the bar. At midnight they left separately and went back to Darling Point.

The next morning they emerged about 9.30am, only to flee back inside when they spotted photographers.

Bingle then drove off, leaving him alone in the apartment. After calling police, who arrived and left within 10 minutes, Cipriani then went to great lengths to leave unseen.

At midnight a limo backed up to the apartment block and he dived into the back seat, covering himself with a jacket before speeding off.

Dancing With The Stars eliminated contestant Lara Bingle returned to Sydney last night but refused to be drawn on judge Todd McKenney's comments.

She arrived from Melbourne about 5pm, looking surprisingly fresh in a fur vest and tight jeans. Bingle had the boot stuck into her on Sunday night by McKenney.

The 24-year-old last night remained tight-lipped about the remarks, only commenting that her upcoming sunglasses range is "amazing".

The former WAG said this week she has been overwhelmed by offers since appearing on DWTS, including from Channel 7, but again refused to say more last night.

The latest celebrity to be booted off Dancing with the Stars says the show has changed her life.

Model and former WAG Lara Bingle left the dancefloor and brushed off waiting journalists, sheilding her face in the arm of her dance partner Carmelo Pizzino, after she was eliminated from DWTS last night.

Bingle finally reappeared after most camera crews had left the Global Television studio in South Melbourne.

Dressed down in a white T-shirt and black trousers, she said she was planning to celebrate the night.

"I feel so blessed to have made it this far. Carmelo has taught me so much. I've changed, 360 degrees,'' she said.

Contestants were given just 40 minutes to set a routine to music, with many couples not knowing their song.

A romance is blossoming between Lara Bingle and English rugby union player Danny Cipriani, with the pair eating at Nobu at Crown on Friday.

The couple were at the Japanese restaurant with another couple enjoying a quiet dinner, relaxed and smiling the whole night.

Both Bingle and Cipriani are saying they are just friends, they have been spending every minute they can together in Melbourne when Bingle isn't rehearsing for Dancing With The Stars.

If Cipriani was to watch his new love interest in the audience of Dancing With The Stars it would be tonight, because she is tipped to leave the competition by bookmakers.

Meanwhile some are saying it is tense back stage at Dancing With The Stars, in particular between Hayley Bracken and Bingle.

Judge Todd McKenney confirmed the environment was tense.

"You can certainly feel friction," he said.

"Almost across the board, there's a much more fractious vibe in the studio. It seems much more genuinely competitive and there is not so much of the warm, cuddly camaraderie that there normally is."

Just when you thought you'd heard the last from the publicity-hungry twosome, another hint alluding to the relationship between Lara Bingle and Jason Derulo has landed in the Twittersphere.

After announcing her birthday on the social media site - "I'M TWENTY- FOUR TODAY.... AND I'M HAPPY TO BE HERE. AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT COMES NEXT" - the Aussie model posted a picture of a birthday greeting drawn in the sand, tellingly signed 'Jase'.

They have since flirted openly on Twitter, and in November Lara’s BFF Hermione Underwood uploaded a video of herself and Lara singing to Jason’s Ridin’ Solo, which he then re-tweeted to his many followers.

Bingle has also hooked-up with the singer twice stateside, even spending New Year’s Eve with him in Vegas.

The bikini babe might not be officially dating Derulo but she's clearly made an impression on him, with Derulo revealing that she was the inspiration behind some love songs on his second album, Future Music.

Lara Bingle’s thrilled to be climbing the fashion career ladder thanks to a new collab.

Aside from dancing and tweeting, Lara Bingle has another major hobby: fashion. She trawls blogs, lusts over Ellery jackets (and tweets about them effusively) and hangs out with high-profile stylists and designer friends.

She’s approached constantly to collaborate with brands, but when sunnies label ROC Eyewear came knocking, she pinned down a real opportunity.

“No other celebrity in Australia has done sunglasses – everyone does swimsuits. It’s a bit cliched,” Lara says on the set of her luxe campaign shoot at Sydney’s notorious Ivy Penthouse. “I’m always photographed in sunglasses so it’s not an odd choice for me.”

As the face of ROC, Lara is working on a capsule collection to come out later this year.

“I’m designing several pairs – a few basics and some fashion-oriented ones that are very on-trend,” she says.

On her moodboard? “Kate Moss (obviously!), Chloe Sevigny, Erin Wasson and the Olsens – they all love sunglasses. Those girls look accessible and simple but chic at the same time.”

Lara wanted her campaign, shot by renowned photographer Pierre Toussaint, to feel “glamorous but raw” and looked to fash-forward magazines Self Service and Acne Paper for inspiration.

Enter rugby bad boy Danny Cipriani.

The pair were reportedly spotted "canoodling" just hours after Bingle performed on the Seven show, the latest in a long line of good-looking conquests for the Melbourne Rebels' English import.

An insider at Melbourne's celeb haunt Laika Bar said the easy-on-the-eye pair were "canoodling" on the couch.

Before their night out, Bingle made no secret of her desire to hit the town with good friend Erin McNaught and her Amazing Race model boyfriend Nathan Joliffe, who were in the audience at DWTS.

"We are going to have a drink. It's nice to have your friends in town, it makes it more special ... but I need a drink after all that," Bingle laughed after the show.

The rugby pin-up, who used to date British babe Kelly Brook, has been linked to Tamara Jaber and more recently Jesinta Campbell.

Then 20 minutes later a second concerned citizen phoned us to report that the model, still struggling to manoeuvre her large car, had a near-miss with a large delivery truck outside Bar Coluzzi in Darlinghurst.

After her split from cricketer Michael Clarke last year she’s lost her WAG tag – and she’s also desperate to escape being indelibly linked to nude photo scandals, driving scandals …any kind of scandal.

“For a long time, there was so much stuff out there about my personal life – it wasn’t enough about my work and what I actually do,” she says, as she prepares for our shoot. “I feel blessed now to be able to show people who I am and what I’m doing. I actually do have a voice – I can speak – and I’m creating things that I love.”

Accepting an invite to join DWTS is in line with the new-look Lara.

“I signed on to the show because I was in the right place. I’m doing things on my own.

“Whatever I’m going to fail at or get better at, it’s all on my own.

Lara Bingle is determined to prove the judges wrong after copping a barrage for her performance on Sunday night's Dancing With The Stars.

Bingle's commitment was questioned by Todd McKenney after she admitted learning her dance in 24 hours.

"We've seen one Lara in four weeks," McKenney said.

"I know everyone is busy, but you've got to do better than that. If you haven't got the time get out."

Bingle said the comments would drive her to improve.

"At the end of the day constructive criticism is good," she said.

"I guess they do understand how hard we are working, but no one really knows the hours. We're trying really hard and it makes me more ambitious for next week."

Bingle donned a white wig for the quickstep routine with partner Carmelo Pizzino.

She said the pair decided to create a character for the fast-paced dance.

Bingle was also upbeat having regained her driver's licence during the week.

"I can pick Carmelo up now, which is good," she said.

"I usually ride to training but we might be able to go to different studios now."

Bingle said it was a relief to safely go through to the next round after being in the bottom two last week.

"That was the most nerve-racking thing," she said. "I felt so sick last week, but we were pretty blessed this week.

Adelaide advertising agency Fnuky has dished the dirt on Lara, who starred in its new national anti-littering campaign called Litterers Anonymous.

Fnuky's strategy director, Jeremy Ervine, says the ex-fiance of cricketer Michael Clarke would only participate if her personal make-up artist was flown in to look after her.

"I can only describe him as a cross between Carson Kressley and Derek Zoolander," Jeremy says with a laugh.

"And after Lara spent a couple of hours with him, she didn't look any different. He has obviously mastered the natural look."

Reports the two are at loggerheads have been circulating in women's glossy magazines, claiming Bracken is furious at the "chemistry" between Bingle and her ousted cricketer husband Nathan.

But Bracken said it is the other way around, and that her husband - first to be voted off the show - wishes her green-eyed monster would come out more.

But Bingle was not short of attention at last week's show, with Amazing Race contestant Tyler Atkins moving from his designated seat to one allocated to Bingle's guests.

Seated near Carlton player Ryan Houlihan, Atkins cheered loudly and held up a sign with Bingle's name on it during her routine.

"He has been a friend a long time," she said of Atkins.

Battling a twisted ankle, Bingle did not start learning her tango routine for tomorrow night's show until Thursday.

"I have been resting it and taping it and icing it. It has caused more problems than I thought," she said. "I am worried because the tango is my favourite dance so I really want to do this well."

LIMPING LARA FEELS THE STRAIN

Lara Bingle has become the first casualty on the latest series of Dancing With The Stars after the swimwear model twisted her ankle during a training session on Monday.

Yesterday Bingle, who joked on Sunday night's show that her dance partner needed to be patient with her as her energy levels waxed and waned, tweeted that her physiotherapist had advised her to take four days off after hurting herself.

On Monday she revealed: "Oh NOoooo ... My physio just said I should take 4 days off dancing due to twisting my ankle!" Yesterday she was not taking calls despite being seen strolling in Kings Cross.

The model has been performing well on the dance show where she has been teamed with dance instructor Carmelo Pizzino and finished fifth in the rankings on Sunday night.

But cracks look to be appearing in the couple's professional relationship with Bingle.

A television source said that the reason the relationship has been under pressure in only the second week of the show is that Bingle is working harder than she's worked in her life and the strain has started to show.

In the past fortnight contestants have been working up to seven days a week and training from between 30 hours a week - Bingle's confessed workload - to 50 hours a week, Brynne Edelsten's workload.

Yesterday Bingle looked to have returned to the dance studio, the model tweeting an artistic photo of herself in a dance studio.

"Just me and studio ... " she said ambiguously.

Bingle was runner-up in Channel 9's Dancing On Ice series in 2006 so few are surprised to find that she has emerged as a competent dancer. Her main problem will be being unknown to voters outside Sydney.

Viewers love the smiles, sequins and funky steps but behind the glamour of Dancing With The Stars competitors are put through beauty boot camp.

Model Lara Bingle says it starts with six hours a day of dance practice. She follows that with workouts with a personal trainer to keep the famous body in shape.

Then there are hours spent on teeth whitening, waxing, eyelashes, hair extensions, tans and other body maintenance essentials.

Last week Bingle visited Sydney dentist David Carr to have her teeth laser-cleaned for the debut of the show tonight on Seven.

"I didn't get a fake tan and I have no hair extensions but maybe some eyelashes," she said.

"For me, at the end of the day, I think less is more."

Executive producer Karen Green says contestants can spend many hours in the makeup chair before a show.

"It comes as quite a shock to most people what is involved," she said.

"There's lots of bling, accessories, tanning, hair clipping, manicures, pedicures and all of that."

Among Bingle's competitors are celebrity chef Manu Feildel, socialite Brynne Edelsten, Home And Away actor Dan Ewing, singer Damien Leith and newsreader Samantha Armytage. Feildel is an early favourite to win.

Bingle, 23, hopes the show will give the public a better idea of who she is.

Although nervous to be out of her comfort zone on the dance floor, she plans to have lots of fun.

"I kind of feel I am growing into my own," she said.

"I was in a relationship with another high-profile person and I feel I've come out of that shadow and am doing my own thing. I have never been this busy. I am happier than ever."

Lara Bingle is in a great place after a tough two years in the public spotlight, during which her father, Graham, died and she broke up with Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke.

It is a wiser Bingle who is the star attraction on tonight's Dancing with the Stars.

"Things just happen in life," she said.

"Everything is a learning experience for me. I'm 23 and I'm going to make more mistakes. It has been tough, but I'm not going to complain. I'm in a great position now.

"I feel the things that have happened, like with my dad, I have got this kind of strength to continue and do things like this."

Bingle has learnt to accept the attention she receives. She sees the show as something she is doing for herself.

"If I'm going to stuff up I can't blame it on anyone else," she said.

Dancing With The Stars premieres on Channel 7 tonight at 6.30pm.

She's been training eight hours a day for weeks and has watched Black Swan plenty of times, but Lara Bingle believes any toe tapping mastery that comes with her Dancing With The Stars debut on Sunday will be a fluke.

Catching up with good mate Teresa Palmer at Kym Ellery's much-hyped fashion show yesterday, she said she was struggling to get the moves to her first dance down pat.

"It's been hard, much harder than I thought it would be," she said.

"All I've been doing is training - the schedule is crazy.

"Whenever I get a move down it's been a fluke and I haven't been able to do it again."

With a stint on Dancing On Ice and childhood dance lessons under her belt, more viewers than normal are sure to tune in for the season premiere to see if Bingle will bungle.

"I'm quite nervous," she said.

LARA BINGLE WANTS HER OWN MAKE-UP ARTIST

A sequin is yet to sparkle on Channel 7's new series of Dancing With The Stars but it seems the network is already accommodating its prime starlet Lara Bingle.

Bingle, signed for a rumoured $50,000-plus fee, has been given permission to use her own make-up artist.

It's understood Bingle will be beautified every week by her long-time make-up guy Max May instead of the Channel 7 in-house team.

The request was granted after Bingle made the specific plea to use May - the man she claims she is collaborating with on her "coffee table beauty book", which is yet to find a publisher.

A representative for May confirmed he will work with Bingle on the show "for however long she is on there".

A Seven spokeswoman yesterday claimed not to know about the exception made for Bingle saying only that "we're not privy to this information so it's best to check with her agent". "Obviously we have hair and make-up people, who look after the contestants and hosts and judges, etc. Some people like to have their own, some use the in house team."

Bingle is very particular about who she allows to preen her for photo shoots and has long insisted on May's services for her fashion editorial work as well as last year's Woman's Day interview and photo shoot. May, who has also painted the faces of supermodels Helena Christensen and Miranda Kerr, is known for perfecting the "natural nude" look that Bingle favours.

BINGLE AND DERULO REKINDLE THE FLAME?

It's going to be a hot week for Lara Bingle with US pop star Jason Derulo to rekindle his long-distance relationship with the model by flying into Sydney specifically for their latest romantic reunion.

We hear the singer, best known for his hit Whatcha Say, is booked on a flight to arrive towards the end of the week.

Bingle was not contactable, holed up in rehearsals for the television show Dancing With The Stars, which is scheduled to go to air on Seven next month.

But Derulo's official website shows his schedule is clear, with his next concert date arranged for the University of Wisconsin in the US on May 6.

"He's coming to hang out with her," a friend told us.

Bingle and Derulo met in Sydney at last year's ARIA Awards in November and have maintained a close friendship.

The pair caught up again in London in February this year, when Bingle attended the Brit Awards as the guest of Derulo.

His visit is purely a holiday and it's understood the pair will get out of Sydney, away from prying eyes and media.
